The UKZN Foundation celebrated multiple wins at this year’s national Marketing, Advancement and Communication in Education (MACE) Excellence Awards ceremony held at the Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre in Johannesburg recently.
The awards take place annually to celebrate the excellence and achievements of specialists and practitioners in marketing, advancement and communication in the South African higher education sector.
The UKZN Foundation’s Corporate Video earned a Bronze Award in the Brand-Building Campaigns category, while the Graduation Campaign also secured Bronze in the Alumni category. The April 2025 edition of the UKZN Philanthropy Digital Magazine took home Gold in the Digital: Internal Magazines and Newsletters category and went on to receive a Special Award for Outstanding Research — a remarkable first for UKZN Corporate Relations.
